Rachel | Women's Styled Session

Regal, real, and rock & roll...Rachel.

Styled sessions are tailored to provide that person with various different looks during the same session so their final gallery is a collection of photos that are all different and diverse, yet still present that person's personality and individuality. With someone like Rachel, after collaborating and comparing different wardrobe pieces all I really had to do was sit back and be ready! Let her do her thing. Whether it was a vintage moto jacket and combat boots, poised and perfect for headshots, or barefoot forever in blue jeans, femininity and confidence always came through.

I wanted to try a few things as we went; colorful studio gels, some tilt shift focusing (which I discovered I wasn't a huge fan of after the fact), climbing up on stools for a different vantage point, and some sepia grainy editing in post production. Main lens used here was Canon 70-200mm 2.8
